1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RequestSherpa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RequestSherpa is an invoice processing service that:

• Monitors your email accounts for invoices based on patterns you configure
• Extracts data from PDF invoice attachments
• Provides a review interface for verification
• Integrates with QuickBooks Online at your direction

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

• Authenticate using a valid Google or Microsoft account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction

4. Authorized Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to process emails or data you do not have rights to access

5. Email and Data Access

By connecting your email account, you authorize RequestSherpa to:

• Access emails matching your configured search patterns
• Download PDF attachments from matching emails
• Apply labels or move processed emails as configured
• Store extracted invoice data for your review and processing

You may revoke this access at any time by disconnecting your account or through your email provider's security settings.

6. QuickBooks Integration

If you choose to connect QuickBooks Online:

• You authorize RequestSherpa to read customer and invoice data
• You authorize RequestSherpa to create or modify invoices at your explicit direction
• You are responsible for verifying all data before it is written to QuickBooks
• You may disconnect QuickBooks at any time

7. Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to your data. RequestSherpa does not claim ownership of any invoices, emails, or business data processed through the Service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REQUESTSHERPA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

You are responsible for:

• Verifying extracted invoice data before taking action
• Maintaining backups of your important data
• Ensuring compliance with your own regulatory requirements

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11. Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the application settings. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will cease immediately
• All your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Any connected integrations will be revoked

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
